Entrepreneurial Pursuits

Self Employed

I am a self-starter and tried running my own businesses. I pursued an interest in podcasting and stand-up comedy. Podcasting was about to change broadcasting and stand-up comedy was about to experience a boom in popularity. (Both of these continue to gain in popularity today.) Lastly, I invested my time doing IT work for a social network targeting comedians. It was an attempt to merge comedians, their connections, and content together. This did not gain in popularity and proved to be difficult to generate revenue.

Interests

Apart from being a full stack developer, regular exercise, eating healthy, and playing guitar are part of my daily routine. On weekends I can be found dining out and occasionally at local music venues. I support local businesses whenever possible.

Keeping up with technology is a part of every developers lifestyle. I am currently working to earn a technical certification in AWS Cloud Computing. Cloud Services such as Infrastructures, Platforms, and Software are interesting. I believe these services will replace legacy IT Infrastructures as they become easier to use and more cost effective.
